Kiwanis Park
Kiwanis Park, previously known as Cherokee Park, is located at 2100 Rotary Drive off Perryville Road and Lexington Avenue. This park contains 55.8 acres and was acquired by the City in 1972. The park features four shelters, one small pond, two play structures, and one restroom facility.

Kiwanis Park is also home to the City of Cape Girardeau's first Dog Park, "
Dogtown." Dogtown is approximately one acre with separate areas for small and large dogs. Each area has amenities such as a tunnel, dog water fountain, fire hydrant, picnic table and pooch disposal containers.
