Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are mapping and data services used by the City of Cape Girardeau to better manage and analyze infrastructure and operations such as streets and utilities. GIS includes the integrated systems of computer hardware, software and trained personnel linking topographic, demographic, utility, facility, image and other geographically-referenced resource data.

Use our interactive maps to zoom, select data and use more features. Data sets include:

  • Districts, Zoning and Parcel Data
  • Regulated distances from churches, daycares and schools
  • Flood maps
  • Police activity
  • TTF/Street projects
  • City corporate history

Downloadable PDF maps are formatted for easy printing. Contact the GIS Office at 573-339-6327 or email the GIS Department for GIS and map related questions
