Cape Girardeau TTF-7 Committee
Seeking Public Input on Transportation Needs

The Transportation Trust Fund 7 (TTF-7) Committee is seeking input from the public regarding transportation needs within the Cape Girardeau city limits. The Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) is a 0.5% (one half-cent per dollar spent) sales tax dedicated solely for transportation-related improvements in the city. Renewal of the tax, along with a list of projects to be completed if the renewal is approved, is placed on the ballot every five years. The TTF-7 Committee is responsible for developing a list of projects for consideration by the City Council.

The public may submit transportation needs/project ideas by filling out the online survey (cityofcape.org/TTF) by August 30, 2024 or by attending one of two open houses (August 21, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Osage Centre, 1625 N. Kingshighway or Shawnee Park Center, 835 S. West End Boulevard).

For more information, call the Planning Services Division at (573) 339-6327, send an email to [email protected], or visit City Hall at 44 North Lorimier Street.
