Potential Water Service Issue Resolved
Water remains safe to use normally and we thankful for the crews who resolved this issue before it could impact the water system.
This morning, Well 17, a crucial pumping well supplying water to the City of Cape Girardeau, experienced a breakdown. Prompt action was taken by the City and Alliance Water Resources to repair and replace the pump motor, with expectations of resolution by the end of the day.
