Pickleball
A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players. Tennis, racquetball and ping pong players love the competitive nature of the sport and regularly participate in competitive tournaments. Open play pickleball is available at the Osage Centre and Shawnee Park Center. This a drop-in program with no registration necessary. Three playing courts will be available during open play, and a daily admission fee of $2 per person is required to play. Click here to view our monthly pickleball schedule. Cape Noon Optimist Wheel Park

Cape Noon Optimist Club Indoor Soccer League
This indoor soccer league is held at the SportsPlex, but ran by the Cape Noon Optimist Club. For more information, visit their website at www.capenoonoptimist.org.
Cape Youth Tackle Football
The Cape Youth Tackle Football league is an educational league serving players in grades 2 - 6. CYTF was established in 1980 and is a USA football affiliated, Heads Up Football certified league (www.usafootball.com). CYTF prides itself on developing fundamentally sound players at all levels provided within a family friendly environment. CYTF offers a spring conditioning camp Saturdays in April and a summer conditioning camp Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in July. The CYTF season begins in August and runs through the end of October. CYTF also offers cheerleading during the summer camp and season. Registration for the season and/or camps is always available online at their website at: www.capeyouthtacklefootball.com
Disc Golf
Capaha Park is home to a 10-hole disc golf course. The course goes through the City's oldest park with obstacles like the Capaha Park Lagoon. Click here for more course information. Please note that holes 3-5 are currently unavailable for play due to construction in the park. The rest of the course is playable.
Tennis Courts
The Arena Park houses four tennis courts available for free play. Tennis courts can also be rented for private use.
Sand Volleyball Courts
There are two sand volleyball courts located at Arena Park next to the tennis courts. These courts are available for open play when sand volleyball courts are not being played. Courts are also available for rent for private use.
Rugby
Osage Park is home to the Kohlfeld Scorpions Rugby team. This local rugby team was founded in Cape Girardeau in 1972. Click here to learn more about the organization.
Roller Derby
The Cape Girardeau Roller Derby is a local roller derby team that uses the A. C. Brase Arena for practices and meets. The organization offers a league for adults and juniors. Click here to learn more.
