Safe Sitter (Ages 11+)
The Safe Sitter course prepares students in grades 6th-8th to be home alone, watch younger siblings, or babysit. This course is designed with interactive lessons that will help students learn life-saving skills, understand how to handle emergencies, and know how to treat injuries. Please bring a lunch! Fundamentals Of Softball With The Redhawks (Girls Ages 7-12)
Southeast Missouri State University softball is partnering with the Cape SportsPlex to offer a Fundamentals of Softball with the Redhawks clinic for 7-12 year olds.  Participants will learn basic hitting, fielding and pitching fundamentals while meeting the Redhawks softball players and coaches. Click here to register for the clinic. Fundamentals Of Volleyball With The Redhawks (Ages 7-12)
This is your chance to learn from the Southeast Missouri State University volleyball team through an introductory clinic designed to teach the fundamentals of the exciting sport of volleyball! The rules, techniques, serving, passing and other various skills will be taught. Co-hosted by the Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks and the Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department. Participants will learn basic fundamentals such as ballhandling, footwork, shooting and passing while meeting the Redhawks soccer players and coaches. Registration will open soon! Limit of 40 participants per session.
