Cape Girardeau Municipal Cemeteries include: Old Lorimier, New Lorimier and Fairmount  Cemeteries  with a combined total of more than 25,000 burial spaces. A listing of known burials is available for inspection at the Cemetery Office (1836 Caruthers) and City Hall (401 Independence).

Fairmount Cemetery has around 200 burial spaces available for sale. Old Lorimier Cemetery is closed to any new burials.

Old Lorimier Cemetery Hours:
Mid - April thru November 30th
Monday - Sunday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

December thru April
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Weekends by appointment only

Old Lorimier Cemetery will be closed during inclement weather

Flower Removal in April & October of each year.
