In 1999, the Historic Preservation Commission contracted with Thomason and Associates to develop a Master Preservation Plan for the City of Cape Girardeau. The plan provides a thorough examination of historic structures in the community and offers recommendations on future preservation activities.
The complete plan can be viewed online, however due to the size of the complete document, it is divided into two separate links. Sections 1-3; Sections 4-7.
