The Risk Management function acts as a support service to all City departments. Risk Management coordinates and administers various claims generated from City operations. These include workers’ compensation, auto liability, general liability and unemployment claims. This service also includes assistance with accident investigations, in service training programs, administering safety programs and policies and the development and revision of safety programs as needed. 

The Risk Management function assists all levels of management and employees to maintain safety programs and practices that will ensure the safe and effective completion of city services and reduce accidents and injuries.
