The City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department delivers fire, rescue, emergency medical, and emergency management services to our community of more than 39,000 residents and about 60,000 daily visitors from four fire stations strategically located throughout the City. These services are delivered through prevention, preparation, response, and evaluation activities carried out by our team of highly trained professionals. The Department operates in accordance with established values, vision, and mission.
CGFD is now maintaining a year-round employment eligibility list. Physical testing and interviews will be schedule based on department needs.
